We are looking for a proactive and purpose-driven Volunteer Fundraising Assistant to support the growth of our fundraising activities. This role would suit someone who believes in our mission and enjoys turning ideas into action. We're particularly interested in someone with experience in fundraising, especially writing grant applications, although we're happy to hear from people with transferable skills and a willingness to learn. Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, you'll help us secure funding so we can reach more people and expand our impact.

Help us raise the funds needed to save lives in our communities. As a Fundraising Officer, you will support the charity by developing fundraising ideas, assisting with events, engaging with local businesses and community groups, and helping to secure donations and sponsorship. Your efforts will directly support Community First Responders, CPR & AED awareness sessions, and Public Access Defibrillator projects across the North West. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about making a positive difference in their community. No previous fundraising experience is required, and full support will be provided.

Sight Concern Bedfordshire has supported people with sight loss to live full and independent lives for over 25 years. They are now seeking a new Chair of Trustees to guide their next chapter, strengthen governance and shape their strategy as they modernise and grow. This is a unique opportunity to bring purposeful leadership, champion inclusion, and help amplify the voice of blind and partially sighted people across the charity's communities.

The volunteer should welcome patients and visitors on arrival at the Living Well Centre and carry out their responsibilities according to the Hospice Philosophy.

Our Volunteers are at the heart of the day to day running of our shops. We thank you for your time given to the charity. The shops provide much needed income to provide nursing care for our patients. Our purpose is to care for our patients and to support their families and friends. Whilst aiming to provide the most efficient and provide appropriate care, both physically and emotionally in their home or at the Hospice.

This vacancy is to work together with other trustee members.

The Treasurer will provide sound financial administration, support and information to the Trustee Board.

Gateshead Youth Assembly gives you a chance to represent Young People in Gateshead and have lots of fun. You’ll meet lots of Young Decision Makers and help make decisions for Young Peoples Services in Gateshead.
