Whilst volunteering your time you’ll be helping us encourage the local community to provide care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle! Do you have a spare hour or two a week and want to help change the life of a child in Gloucestershire? We're looking for volunteers to hear children read, twice a week, for 15-20 minutes. Our volunteers provide one to one time. This creates discussion which in turn improves social and communication skills and builds confidence, enhancing their life chances.

Telephone support to residents across Cambridgeshire to prevent loneliness and isolation.

As an Independent Life Skills volunteer, you will be supporting the delivery of our Lifewise Programme. This role will focus on cooking and we need a volunteer to work with the young people to help them choose what meals to make, supervise and assist with the cooking, plating up the food and then also with washing and tidying up afterwards.

The service has a few young people that need assistance learning English and this role is to support the education that they are getting from college. You will be supporting a small group of young people with their studies and provide them with assistance with their homework and their wider learning of English.

At the care home, many residents enjoy spending time chatting to others, talking about the things that are important to them. If you would like to help through volunteering, please contact us.
