The reporting side answers three questions: how much happened, who it happened to, and who is missing. Hours and participation break down by group, by period and by category, and the same figures export as CSV so they go into a bid, a governors' pack or a board paper without being retyped.
Context tags are how you classify your own members: year group, department, Pupil Premium, SEND, whatever your organisation actually reports on. Tag names are encrypted at rest, every change is logged with who made it, and students never see their own tags.
The equity dashboard reads those tags and shows the gap. Participation across each tag group, side by side, so the answer to "is this reaching the people it was funded to reach" is a chart rather than an opinion. Category sets decide which category vocabularies your members use, so two years of data stay comparable.
Nothing here claims a framework alignment. Volunteering hours are not an ESRS metric and we do not pretend otherwise. What this produces is evidence for social value bids and for the people who ask you what the year actually did.
The figures are read rather than assembled. Nothing here asks you to run an export, join it against a spreadsheet of year groups, and produce the number by hand two days before a deadline. The dashboard and the CSV are the same numbers, from the records your team already kept.

Questions people ask
Who can see a member's context tags?
Your organisation's admins. Tags are scoped to your organisation, the names are encrypted at rest, and the member does not see their own.
Can we get the numbers out?
Yes, as CSV. The export carries the same figures the dashboard shows, so a bid and a screen never disagree.
Do you produce CSRD, GRI or SDG reporting?
No. Volunteering hours are not an ESRS metric. What we produce is evidence for social value bids and for internal reporting.
Where do the hours come from?
Approved experience claims, staff attendance registers, and the Experience Log. Every hour in a report is one somebody accountable stood behind.
What is a category set?
The vocabulary your members tag activity with. Choosing one keeps your data comparable from year to year instead of drifting as people invent labels.
