Your profile is the page a volunteer lands on when they find you. It carries who you are, where you work, the impact areas you cover, and everything you have published: opportunities, public events, sign-up sheets, posts and awards. It is a real page at a real address, indexed like any other.
It is also where verification shows. Every organisation is read and approved by a person, with a named safeguarding contact, before it can contact anyone. Your register number is captured and format checked when you apply. Young people use Vinspired, so we check who you are first.
Verification is free on every level and price never buys a way round it. What you can reach depends on how far you have got up the ladder, not on what you have paid, and there is no level that skips a rung.
The profile is also why a small organisation can be found at all. A community group with no website, or one built a decade ago, still gets a page that loads quickly, says what it does, lists what it needs, and can be sent to a funder or a volunteer without an apology attached.
Everything you publish lands here without a second step. An opportunity, a public event, a sign-up sheet or a post appears on the profile as you create it, so a page that would otherwise go stale keeps itself current out of the work you were already doing.

How do you verify an organisation?
Email verification first, then approval by a person with a named safeguarding contact. Your school URN, Charity Commission number or Companies House number is captured and format checked when you apply.
Does paying speed up verification?
No. Verification is free on every level and paying does not skip a step. What you can do with messaging depends on the ladder, never on the invoice.
Can we control what appears on the profile?
Yes. Everything on it is something you published, and you can unpublish it.
Do we need a website to have a profile?
No. For a lot of small organisations the profile is the page they send people to.
Is the profile indexed by search engines?
Yes, along with the opportunities and events on it. It is in the sitemap like every other public page.
