Two Temple Place is a magnificent neo-Tudor gem in central London, built in 1895 for William Waldorf Astor. In 2011 we opened our first annual free exhibition, and since then exhibitions have welcomed close to 500,000 visitors. We run a programme of cultural and community events designed to open our doors more often, to more people. We rely on our friendly and enthusiastic team of over 180 volunteers to make our free exhibitions possible. We are recruiting Gallery Steward Volunteers for our 2027 exhibition 'Gathering Rest', (23 January 2027 - 18 April 2027), which will look at how contemporary artists are exploring personal and collective experiences of rest as an expression of intimacy, repair and solidarity.

Our Volunteer Coaches are the backbone of a KEEN London session! You’ll provide one-to-one support to an athlete, helping them to access all the activities on offer, achieve their personal development goals, and of course have tons of fun! You can expect to get involved with a wide range of playground games, ball games, nature walks, and creative activities. From time to time, we also run trips for our athletes, and previous trips have included trampoline parks, high ropes courses, pedalo boating and slime-making classes.

Our Volunteers are at the heart of the day to day running of our shops. We thank you for your time given to the charity. The shops provide much needed income to provide nursing care for our patients. Our purpose is to care for our patients and to support their families and friends. Whilst aiming to provide the most efficient and provide appropriate care, both physically and emotionally in their home or at the Hospice.

As an online tutor-befriender, you will be using video-conferencing and a variety of online remote learning tools to support the children and young people, aged 8-18, who we work with.

A quick visit from a friendly volunteer can really brighten the day of the blind veterans. Can you pop by for a cuppa and a chat?

Who are we? One Million Mentors is a unique, community-based mentoring programme, bringing together local young people and volunteer mentors who give an hour a month for up to a year. Since inception, we've successfully partnered with schools, colleges, universities, youth organisations, employer organisations and individuals across the UK to fully train over 3,000 mentors who have positively changed the lives of 5,000 young people. We recruit our mentors from a variety of professional backgrounds and provide them with specialist training and ongoing support. We then match each mentor with a young person aged 14-25 based on the mentee's goals and aspirations, targeting young people with high potential but low social capital.
