The record is free on Vinspired for everyone. Some programme features are paid for by the organisations that use them, so that the platform never again depends on one funder. Here is why, in plain words.

We never charge by the volunteer, and Community is not a trial. Charities bring the opportunities that make Vinspired worth using, so posting and verifying stay free.

The first Vinspired closed in 2018 when its funding ran out. This one is a company that pays for itself, so the free level does not depend on a grant being renewed. Why there is a price at all

When you should not buy this

If all you do is recruit volunteers and verify their hours, Community does everything you need and you should stay on it. Programme is for charities running public events and sign up sheets of their own.

Verification

Every organisation is verified before it can contact anyone

Verification is free and it works the same on every level. Young people use Vinspired, so we check who you are before you can reach one. Paying does not skip a step.

    Post opportunities, receive applications, and reply inside a conversation somebody started with you.

  2. Approved by a person

    We review your organisation and your named safeguarding contact. You can then message your own members and applicants.

For your trustees and your funders

Trustees ask three things about a new system: what it costs, what happens to the data, and what happens if it stops. The answer to all three is on this page. The cost is one annual amount with no per volunteer charge, your data is exportable at any time and is never sold, and if you stop paying your account moves back to the free level with every record intact.

How buying works

How you pay

One invoice a year, in advance, payable within 30 days by bank transfer. Card payment arrives with self service checkout. There is no charge per volunteer, so the invoice is the same whether ten people volunteer or a thousand.

What you can hand a funder

A CSV of hours and activity you can put in a report, the public impact profile as a link, and a written note from us confirming what the platform recorded and how it was verified. Ask and we will write it.

Existing partners keep their rate until their renewal, and hear from us in writing before anything changes.

Questions

Questions people ask us

Do you charge per volunteer, per pupil or per hour?

No. Nothing is priced per volunteer, per pupil, per hour, per certificate or per export. More people taking part is the point, and your invoice will never rise because it happened.

Is the free level really free, or is it a trial?

It is free and permanent. There is no time limit and no cap on volunteers or students. We say which things it does not include on each card, so you can see what you would be paying for.

Can we pay monthly?

No. One annual agreement, one invoice, one purchase order. It keeps the admin small for you and for us.

What happens if we stop paying?

Your account moves back to the free level at the end of the agreement and nothing is deleted. School data is returned or deleted under the data processing agreement, and students keep their own records either way.

We have no budget this year. What then?

Then a one term pilot is the right size. It is free, it has a written scope and a review date, and it produces the evidence for a budget case in January.

How do you verify organisations?

Email verification first, then human approval with a named safeguarding contact. What you can do with messaging depends on how far you have got, never on what you have paid.

Do you produce CSRD, GRI or SDG reporting?

No. Volunteering hours are not an ESRS metric. What we produce is evidence for social value bids: PPN 002, the NHS weighting and TOMs NT29 labels when a named buyer asks for them.

Will our price change?

Existing partners keep their rate until their renewal, and hear from us in writing before anything changes. Every price is published on one page with the reason beside it.
