The Aaron Opoku Foundation (AOF) Mentorship programme is seeking a volunteer Fundraising Events Co-ordinator to support our summer fundraising events.

Deputy Area Coordinators support the Area Coordinator in the day-to-day management of North West First Responder Group activities within their local area. They help coordinate volunteers, assist with community engagement and fundraising activities, support local projects, and help ensure the area operates effectively. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop leadership experience while making a positive impact within their community.

Help ensure our volunteers are supported, developed, and kept safe. As a Training & Safeguarding Officer, you will assist with the delivery and coordination of volunteer training, support the charity's safeguarding processes, and help maintain a safe and positive environment for volunteers and members of the public. You may help organise training events, maintain training records, promote best practice, and support safeguarding awareness across the charity. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, and passionate about volunteer development and welfare. Full training and support will be provided where required.

Help us tell our story and engage with our communities. As a Communications Officer, you'll support the charity by creating and sharing content across our social media platforms, website, and other communication channels. You'll help promote our events, celebrate volunteer achievements, raise awareness of CPR and defibrillators, and support fundraising campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with good communication skills, creativity, and a passion for making a positive impact through effective public engagement. No professional experience is required – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
