What a school partnership costs
Every student's record is free, and it stays theirs after they leave. A partnership buys the programme around it. That is the roll import, clubs and sessions with registers, bulk logging, and the termly evidence export. It also buys up to eight hours of our time in the first year.

A pilot is one term, free, with a written scope and a review date. A partnership is never free. The two are different things and we put both in writing.
The first Vinspired closed in 2018 when its funding ran out. This one is a company that pays for itself, so the free level does not depend on a grant being renewed. Why there is a price at all
When you should not buy this
If a club register is all you need, Record does that and it is free. Partnership is for a school running volunteering across year groups and evidencing it every term.

What it is not
- It is not a feature. Nothing on Vinspired unlocks because you support it.
- It is not verification. Verification is free on every level and cannot be bought.
- It is not earned. Your supporter badge says you chose to give, and it never sits in the awards area beside the badges people earn.
Supporting is for organisations and for people 18 and over. A supporter badge is given, never earned, and it never sits beside the badges and certificates that are. A certificate is the highest thing anyone earns here, and it cannot be bought.
Supporting is not a plan
If what your organisation needs is a capability, buy the level that includes it. Supporting adds no feature and never will.
Every organisation is verified before it can contact anyone
Verification is free and it works the same on every level. Young people use Vinspired, so we check who you are before you can reach one. Paying does not skip a step.

What a school gets out of this is a record it can show somebody. Participation by year group and by club. Hours approved by a named member of staff, not self reported. A termly export shaped for personal development and Gatsby Benchmark 3. We do not claim Ofsted endorsement of any kind, because there is no such thing to claim. What we produce is evidence you present, not a judgement anybody has made about your school.
For your data protection officer
A data processing agreement is signed before any roster is imported, never after. The minimum field set is a name, a year group and an internal identifier. We do not need a date of birth, and we never ask for an address. Your school is the data controller and we are the processor. Data is hosted in the United Kingdom. Sensitive classifications such as Pupil Premium are encrypted at rest, and students never see their own tags. You can export everything at any time, and at the end of an agreement data is returned or deleted on your instruction. Cyber Essentials is in progress and we will say so on any questionnaire rather than claim a certificate we do not hold.
How buying works
For the person who signs
Most school partnerships sit below the figure a head or business manager can approve alone. They sit above the figure at which most trust finance teams collect two or three quotes. Our quote arrives on letterhead with the company details your procurement file needs, and it is valid for 60 days.
For the person who pays
One invoice a year, in advance, payable within 30 days by bank transfer against your purchase order number. No card payments for schools.
Existing partners keep their rate until their renewal, and hear from us in writing before anything changes.
Looking for something else
Questions people ask us
Do you charge per volunteer, per pupil or per hour?
No. Nothing is priced per volunteer, per pupil, per hour, per certificate or per export. More people taking part is the point, and your invoice will never rise because it happened.
Is the free level really free, or is it a trial?
It is free and permanent. There is no time limit and no cap on volunteers or students. We say which things it does not include on each card, so you can see what you would be paying for.
Can we pay monthly?
No. One agreement and one invoice a year. Schools pay against a purchase order, and card payment for charities is coming.
What happens if we stop paying?
Your account moves back to the free level at the end of the agreement and nothing is deleted. Data is returned or deleted under the data processing agreement, and volunteers keep their own records either way.
We have no budget this year. What then?
Then a one term pilot is the right size. It is free, it has a written scope and a review date, and it produces the evidence for a budget case in January.
How do you verify organisations?
Email verification first, then human approval with a named safeguarding contact. What you can do with messaging depends on how far you have got, never on what you have paid.
Will our price change?
Existing partners keep their rate until their renewal, and hear from us in writing before anything changes. Every price is published on one page with the reason beside it.
