Community First Responder

Community First Responders (CFRs) are trained volunteers who respond on behalf of the ambulance service to certain 999 emergencies within their local community. By providing early assessment, basic life support, CPR, and defibrillation where required, CFRs help ensure patients receive vital care as quickly as possible while an ambulance is on its way. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference during some of the most critical moments in a person's life.

Help ensure our volunteers are supported, developed, and kept safe. As a Training & Safeguarding Officer, you will assist with the delivery and coordination of volunteer training, support the charity's safeguarding processes, and help maintain a safe and positive environment for volunteers and members of the public. As a Fundraising Officer, you will support the charity by developing fundraising ideas, assisting with events, engaging with local businesses and community groups, and helping to secure donations and sponsorship. Your efforts will directly support Community First Responders, CPR & AED awareness sessions, and Public Access Defibrillator projects across the North West. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about making a positive difference in their community. No previous fundraising experience is required, and full support will be provided.
