The Aaron Opoku Foundation (AOF) Mentorship programme is seeking a volunteer Fundraising Events Co-ordinator to support our summer fundraising events.

Deputy Area Coordinators support the Area Coordinator in the day-to-day management of North West First Responder Group activities within their local area. They help coordinate volunteers, assist with community engagement and fundraising activities, support local projects, and help ensure the area operates effectively. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop leadership experience while making a positive impact within their community.

As a Fundraising Officer, you will support the charity by developing fundraising ideas, assisting with events, engaging with local businesses and community groups, and helping to secure donations and sponsorship. Your efforts will directly support Community First Responders, CPR & AED awareness sessions, and Public Access Defibrillator projects across the North West. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about making a positive difference in their community. No previous fundraising experience is required, and full support will be provided.

You support people in a housing crisis, as well as offering assistance and information to supporters, volunteers, and members of the public who get in touch by phone, email, or in person.
