Help ensure our volunteers are supported, developed, and kept safe. As a Training & Safeguarding Officer, you will assist with the delivery and coordination of volunteer training, support the charity's safeguarding processes, and help maintain a safe and positive environment for volunteers and members of the public. You may help organise training events, maintain training records, promote best practice, and support safeguarding awareness across the charity. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, and passionate about volunteer development and welfare. Full training and support will be provided where required.

Our Support Volunteers assist with fundraising events, community engagement activities, CPR & AED awareness sessions, administration, and public access defibrillator projects. This flexible role is ideal for anyone who wants to contribute to a life-saving charity without being a Community First Responder. No previous experience is required – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a passion for helping others. Every hour you give helps us support volunteers, educate communities, and improve access to defibrillators across the North West.

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and dependable volunteer to support our Abingdon services with administration activities for 2-3 hours a week, based in our Abingdon office. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, working with data, and supporting charities.
